There's not much else I can do at present. I don't have a mind like you or Jayce. So I'll do what's within my power until I can do more.

[ And if that means working on funds for their work, for amenities, and fuel to keep them going, then that's just going to be how it is. ]

I'm being realistic. Politicians aren't needed here. There's more important work to be done.

[ She can't even imagine what Viktor's are, but it's not her place to ask. She and Jayce have circled this drain before, naming some of the things they wished they could have done differently. Of course Viktor must carry some of his own. ]

It's why I want to help this place. I can't make things right for our home, but here...there is still a chance.

In that, we are of the same mind. For as long as we are here, if there's anything we're able to do, then I'd like to try.

[ She doesn't have the same barriers Viktor has. He is running on borrowed time, as it were. But for her, she knows the moment she's revealed to be a mage in Piltover, she will need to leave, and any efforts she may have affected on the city will be lost. What she does in Karteria may not repair what she has neglected in Piltover, but at the very least, she can work to build something better while she can. ]

Which is why I cannot - and would not - deter you from it. I also can't fault Jayce's nerves over your safety being in the hands of the people who brought us here.
