[On the day all seem to be exchanging gifts, Eli drops two off at Mel's doorstep, one for her and one for Jayce. For Mel, a cape and a portrait of her. For most of his friends, heβs drawn them in their shifted forms to remind them that being a monster is cool, actually, but he finds Mel so stunning in human form that he was inspired to draw her. Of course, itβs drawn in charcoal, and as Mel well knows from looking at his art, the only colour he ever uses is red. This, however, is an exception- it seems heβs used gold paint for her tattoos and accents, as well as the golden shield she holds up around her, hands splayed to the sides, in a defensive stance.]
